Child Critically Hurt In Detroit Drive-By Shooting: Police

The child was privately taken to a nearby hospital, where they were listed in critical condition, police said.

DETROIT — A child was critically injured in a Sunday night drive-by shooting in Detroit, according to police.

Police said the shooting happened at roughly 7:35 p.m. in the area of Beaconsfield and Courville streets. Police said an unknown sedan drove by and someone inside fired shots, striking a child inside the home.

The child was privately taken to a nearby hospital, where they were listed in critical condition, police said.
