Salvati Insurance Group Recognized with Make More Happen™ Award

Liberty Mutual Insurance has officially awarded Salvati Insurance Group a 2026 Make More Happen™ Award for its dedication to supporting vulnerable children in foster care through its partnership with House of Providence.

Initially, Salvati Insurance Group received a $5,000 donation through the Liberty Mutual® 2026 Make More Happen™ Awards program for its partnership with House of Providence. After the story was featured on the official Make More Happen microsite at https://www.agentgiving.com/the-salvati-insurance-group, the community rallied with over 750 votes and comments—triggering a matching donation and bringing the total to $10,000.

The additional funding will help House of Providence support the daily care of children living in its residential homes, covering essential needs such as food, clothing, and safe housing while providing enrichment programs that build life skills, confidence, and opportunity.

House of Providence exists to equip communities to serve their most vulnerable children with excellence. Through residential care, support services, and community partnerships, the organization provides stability, guidance, and opportunities for children who have experienced significant challenges and uncertainty.

That mission resonates deeply with Salvati Insurance Group President Thomas Salvati and his wife, Lisa, who believe strongly in the responsibility to support children and families in need. The agency has partnered with House of Providence since 2011, helping advance its mission through financial support, volunteer efforts, and community advocacy.

Salvati Insurance Group supports House of Providence year-round through charitable contributions and hands-on involvement. The agency hosts and sponsors multiple annual charity golf outings that bring together clients, business partners, and community members, generating tens of thousands of dollars each year for the organization. Beyond fundraising, the team actively promotes House of Providence’s mission, connects potential donors with the nonprofit, and works to ensure continued awareness and support throughout the community. Agency staff members have also assembled back-to-school backpacks for children living in House of Providence’s residential homes.

One moment, in particular, has stayed with Thomas over the years. During a charity golf outing, the impact of the agency’s support became clear when House of Providence staff received the event’s donation and expressed their gratitude for what it would mean for the children they serve.

“We’re not just raising money,” said Thomas Salvati. “We’re creating real impact and giving these kids opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise have.”

Throughout 2026, Liberty Mutual Insurance will select up to 36 independent agencies nationwide for a Make More Happen Award, donating up to $360,000 to nonprofits they support. Agencies become eligible for the award by submitting applications that highlight their commitment to a specific cause.
