DETROIT — Detroit firefighters on Wednesday morning were battling a mulch fire that broke out in a storage yard on the city's westside, according to officials.
The fire started Tuesday afternoon at a storage yard at 14300 Prairie Street, near Davison and Lyndon streets, according to officials.
As of Wednesday morning, firefighters were still battling the fire, which could last for days, according to officials.

Videos posted to social media showed piles of mulch roughly 20 feet high, stretched out over roughly 500 yards burning.
