Farbman Group Appoints Senior Vice President of Property Management

Krista Capp brings more than 25 years of experience to her new leadership role

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Aug 4, 2022—Farbman Group, a Michigan-based full-service commercial real estate firm, has appointed Krista Capp as senior vice president of property management. Farbman Group CEO Andy Farbman made the announcement.

“Krista will be a remarkable asset to the team as a thoughtful leader who understands what tenants need and want in today’s evolving live, work and play lifestyle from a property management perspective,” Farbman said. “Our team is dedicated to providing exemplary real estate services at every single one of our properties under management, and we’re confident Krista will help us excel to a new level in that corporate mission.”

Capp has more than 25 years of experience in development, construction and historic rehab. In her new role as senior vice president of property management, Capp will oversee Farbman Group’s portfolio of properties under management across the Midwest.

Capp’s has experience managing a diverse portfolio of real estate assets, including medical, office, retail, industrial and multifamily in both urban and suburban areas. Most recently, Krista managed approximately 16 million square feet at a property in Detroit.

Prior to joining the team at Farbman Group, Capp has held impressive positions at several notable companies. She was formerly the Chief Operating Officer for The Heat and Warmth Fund, a Michigan nonprofit focused on heating homes for those in need. She also held positions in property management previously with Beanstalk Real Estate Solutions, Bedrock Detroit and Hubbell Realty Company in Des Moines, Iowa.

Capp earned a B.A. in business administration from the University of Phoenix. She also holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.
