The event will be held on Thursday, September 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the pavilion in New Center One located at 3031 W. Grand Blvd. in Detroit. Farbman Group CEO Andrew V. Farbman made the announcement.
“Detroit has undergone a complete renaissance, and Mr. King has had a front seat during this transformation as a long-time resident and editor for the city,” said Farbman. “We can all learn something worthwhile when it comes to the persistence of Detroit, especially business professionals invested in making the city and the surrounding areas a thriving destination for generations to come.”
Attendees will hear King’s personal synopsis around his recently released book, “Detroit: Engine of America,” as well as an opportunity to get their own copy signed after the presentation. King will discuss the lessons he has distilled from Detroit’s rich history and how that history still teaches us important business lessons today, such as working together as a team to overcome adversity.
