Free Fall Harvest Health Fair for the Community
Wayne Pediatrics to host community event providing free vaccines, health resources and fun for entire family in Detroit's Midtown.

Wayne Pediatrics, Midtown’s newest integrated pediatric practice for babies, children and adolescents, to host its first Fall Harvest Community Health Fair. The event is being held in collaboration with nearly 20 community partners including Connect to Protect Detroit, the Detroit Health Department and Wayne State University School of Medicine. The community event will provide free vaccines, food and entertainment for the entire family in a fall-themed atmosphere complete with pumpkins and hay stacks. Wayne Pediatrics’ Fall Harvest Community Health Fair takes place on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 400 Mack in Detroit.
Funded by a grant from the Michigan State Medical Society Foundation, festivities for the Fall Harvest Community Health Fair to include a mini car show, courtesy of the V-8 Estate Corvette Club, free apple cider and doughnuts, and pumpkin decorating for the kids. Resources on a range of topics including diabetes, mental health, and HIV/STD will also be available. Health screenings to include blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, HIV, Hepatitis C, lead testing and more, and onsite vaccination clinics will offer back-to-school, Flu and COVID-19, as well as COVID-19 testing.
