DETROIT, MI — The Detroit Tigers may have been rained out Thursday, but inclement weather won’t be stopping the first pitch on Friday. Thursday drizzled all day long, but Friday’s forecast shows a solid dose of sunshine and highs in the mid-forties. Winds will pick up Friday though, with gusts past 20 mph.
The Detroit Tigers will start the 2018 Major League Baseball season Friday at 1:10 p.m., hoping to strike out the Pittsburgh Pirates.
