Metro Detroit Weather: Another Chance of Snow in the Forecast

A cloudy week is ahead, and it will turn colder around mid-week.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Roads could be slick when you head out for your morning commute, and there are more chances for snow in the seven-day forecast for Metro Detroit.

Up to three inches of snow was expected Sunday night, but it should melt quickly Monday when temperatures reach into the 40s.

Monday: Cloudy, with a high near 43; southwest wind around 9 mph. Monday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32; southwest wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable.

Tuesday: A 70 percent chance of rain and snow before 9 a.m., then rain likely; cloudy, with a high near 41; east wind 7 to 9 mph; little or no snow accumulation expected. Tuesday night: Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 31;north wind 6 to 9 mph becoming west after midnight.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 36. Wednesday night: Cloudy, with a low around 27.

Thursday: A chance of snow before 1 p.m.; cloudy, with a high near 30. Thursday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 29. Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 29. Saturday night: A chance of snow;cloudy, with a low around 24.

Sunday: A chance of snow; cloudy, with a high near 33.
