Metro Detroit Weather Forecast For Aug. 6-12, Perseid Meteor Peak

Pleasant summer weather leads up to Perseid meteor shower peak, but will skies over Metro Detroit cooperate?

METRO DETROIT, MI – Monday will be the coolest day of the week with temperatures struggling to get much above 75, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures should warm to the low 80s for the pleasant summer weather through the rest of the week.

Partly cloudy skies may interfere with skywatchers’ plans to catch the Perseid meteor shower, which peaks Friday and Saturday.
