New Detroit Comedy Club Announces First Set Of Shows

The Detroit House of Comedy will open inside Detroit's Hockeytown Cafe at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Montcalm Street​.

DETROIT — A new Detroit comedy club, set to open June 24 in Downtown Detroit announced its first set shows.

The Detroit House of Comedy will open inside Detroit's Hockeytown Cafe at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Montcalm Street.

Hans Kim will headline the club's grand opening on June 24 at 8 p.m.

The 300-seat club was founded by John Tobin and Rick Bronson, who have more than 60 years of comedy and entertainment experience between the two of them.
