Olympia Nursing & Rehabilitation Network Job Fair

More than 200 positions available at job fair on February 15, 2018

Olympia Nursing & Rehabilitation Network will hold a job fair on Thursday, February 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the DoubleTree Detroit-Dearborn Hotel in the Dearborn Ballroom. The hotel is located at 5801 Southfield Expressway in Detroit. Olympia plans to hire over 200 new staff members in all six of their Michigan locations. Lucy Poirier, chief operating officer at Olympia Nursing & Rehabilitation Network, made the announcement.

“The nursing and rehabilitation industry has seen a decrease in qualified professionals entering the field in recent years but through this job fair we hope to attract talented candidates to fill our more than 200 open positions,” said Poirier. “Hiring for all six of our Wayne County locations provides the convenience and flexibility that job-seekers desire. An event like this allows Olympia to evaluate the current healthcare job market and we are eager to welcome new employees to our growing family.”

Staff will conduct onsite interviews with opportunities for immediate employment. Open positions include nurses, nurse aides, nurse managers, kitchen staff and housekeeping. Nursing candidates should have the appropriate certifications from the state of Michigan. For all other entry level positions, experience is preferred. Candidates are encouraged to bring their resumes. Light refreshments will be provided, and a raffle will take place with prizes including three uniforms and a pair of slip resistant shoes.
