Learning to Weather Our "Storms"
Keeping a positive mindset and thought process while focusing on the solution(s) will bring you the results needed to weather the "storm."
As some strong spring storms rolled thru the area last week with heavy rain and high winds, it reminded me of the "storms" that periodically move thru our lives. How do you weather the ones that have rolled thru yours? Is there panic and chaos at the first sign of damage, or do you calmly assess the situation and go about fixing or remedying the issue that needs your immediate attention?
Every "storm" in our lives occurs for our personal expansion and to help us grow stronger and wiser. We can choose to either be beaten down and broken, or broken open and transformed during these difficult times. Sometimes the "storms" truly rock us to the core of our being. But remember that life is always changing and moving, and nothing stays the same for long even though at times it sure feels like it. This too shall pass whether we are active participants or not.
It is our choice whether we wish to rise above the "storm" or get caught up in it.
