Camp Invention Starts Monday!

Do you have a young scientist, a budding engineer, or an inquiring child on your hands?  Do they like to take apart or build things?

Enrollment is now open for CAMP INVENTION, focused on STEM studies - science, technology, engineering, and math.  Additionally, camp inspires creativity and inventive thinking during this weeklong summer camp.

There are family discounts available: two children in the same family receive a $25 discount each, and three children enrolled from one family get $50 off each registration.

Students from Dexter and the surrounding communities entering grades one through six are eligible to register for this week long program which will be held from June 23 to June 27 at Dexter High School from 9 am to 3:30 pm.   Before camp child care from 6:30 am and after camp child care to 6:00 pm is also available for a nominal fee.

Certified Dexter Schools teachers will guide Camp Invention's newest program, Morphed, featuring "Amplified" where kids explore the senses on a bionic adventure, unlocking nature's blueprints.  Also featured are "Super-Go" where students build vehicles that move on land, in air, and in the water; "I Can Invent: Pinbug" where appliances are taken apart and used to create a pinball machine; and "Design Studio" in which the kids tinker with circuits and design solutions to modern-day problems.

Space is limited. Enroll today at campinvention.org or call 1-800-968-4332. Come join us for hands-on learning and fun!

Camp Director, Kathy Wilker, can provide additional information and be reached at 734 424-4100 Ext. 1303 or wilkerk@dexterschools.org.
