Crime Report: Police Investigate Two Burglaries in Dexter

  • Breaking and Entering

Deputies with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office are investigating a burglary of the Loranger Family Chiropractic Building, 2844 Baker Road, on July 7. According to police reports, unknown suspects broke out the building's side window and removed a purse.

  • Larceny

Deputies with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office are investigating a stolen bicycle complaint in the 700 block of Forest Street in the Village of Dexter. According to police reports, the bicycle was removed from a house on July 6 while it was unattended. The bike is a brown and silver Trek 12-speed. No further information is available.

  • Home Invasion

On July 2, deputies with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to an office building in the 7000 block of Forest Street in response to a burglary complaint. According to police reports, deputies discovered an unlocked shed was entered and power tools were removed from the property. No further information was available.
