Dexter Finishes Third in Division II State Meet

The Dexter Community Schools boys varsity swim team ended its season Saturday with a third place finish at the Division II state finals at Eastern Michigan University. The team's final score was 265 points, a significant improvement from last year's sixth-place finish.

Members of the team who competed Saturday include senior co-captain Austin Daugherty, seniors Stephen Sobczak and John Victor Brilhante, juniors Josh Boren, Mark Brown, Jake Claflin, John Eber, Kyle Franz, Nate Kilian, Matt Munzel, Joey Pek and Ian Wilson, and sophomores Brennan Maisch, Paul Ruble and Jonathan Zofchak.
