Dexter Girls Drive Past Temperance-Bedford

The Dreadnaughts varsity girls basketball team chalks up a 31-20 win on Wednesday against the Kicking Mules.

The Dexter varsity girls basketball team (13-4, 10-3 SEC) pounced on
Temperance-Bedford (11-4, 5-3 SEC) with a suffocating defense on Wednesday. The Dreadnaughts only gave up two points the first quarter and four points the second quarter to take an 18-6 lead into the locker room at halftime.

During the second half, the Dreadnaughts and Kicking Mules played even with Dexter posting a 31-20 win at the end of the fourth quarter.

Sarah Moir led the Dreads with nine points. Emma Kill and Zaryn Jennings each
had six points. Olivia Cares had four points. Riley McDonald and Nyki Caldwell each had three points.
