Dexter Track Teams Shine at Season Opener Against Adrian

Both the boys and girls' teams swept several events on April 10 to start their season off on a strong note.

The Dexter High School girls' and boys' varsity track teams showed a strong presence during a home meet against Adrian on April 10.

The boys' scored 27-110, and the Lady Dreads scored 89-48.

"It was an awesome and very busy first meet of the year. I have great athletes and the best coaching staff one could ask for," Dexter coach Doris Simmons said. "It was freezing outside, it hailed, and we still managed to have several personal bests, numerous regional qualifications (vaulters) and swept several events."
