Snow, Ice Lead to Traffic Accidents Around Washtenaw County
The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department is reporting 123 weather-related accidents.
A winter storm Sunday evening wreaked havoc across most of Washtenaw County dropping eight inches of snow in the Ann Arbor area according to the National Weather Service.
Locally, the snow and freezing rains left roads a mess in Dexter and contributed to at least one accident Monday morning.
According to Dexter Area Fire Department Capt. Don Dettling, the department responded to a three-vehicle accident at the corner of Dexter-Ann Arbor Road and Ryan Drive near the Country Market driveway at 11:15 a.m.
