HI, I spoke with an employee from Hudson Mills three days ago. He had just left a mtg. with the crew working on the Hud.Mills to Dexter Extension. They are HOPING to make the Sept. 30th deadline. Materials, and trucks and weather permitting. All fingers crossed for that!
As for the Dexter Huron -Dexter Extension... he said that is totally in the hands of the village and believes it all has to do with the property owned by the DPW that would be crossed by trail users. He suggested making our concerns known to the village manager. The County has put up MOST of the funds for that trail. I wonder what they think about the hold-up?
So... that's the latest I've got. Please add any additional info that you learn so we can all be up to date and get on our gorgeous trails ASAP!!! Thanks!
