• Consumers Energy, ITC Michigan to perform overnight electrical work (iosconews.com) — Expect a planned overnight power outage as Consumers Energy and ITC Michigan upgrade high‑voltage lines serving East Tawas and the wider Tawas area this weekend. About 3,700 customers, including those near US‑23 and Tawas Point State Park, may lose power between 11 p.m. June 6 and 2 a.m. June 7, with backup dates set for the following weekend.
