• Warren man charged after allegedly trying to lure children from Eastpointe school (wxyz.com) — An attempted kidnapping charge has been filed after a man allegedly tried to lure children from the Crescentwood Elementary playground in the Eastpointe School District, where staff quickly secured students and called police. Eastpointe families are being reassured that safety protocols worked, with the suspect held on a high bond and ordered to stay away from children and the school if released.
