The family lost nearly everything, can’t re-enter the home under a fire marshal order, and is relying on short-term help while they look for longer-term housing and replace essentials.
   

• Two men admit to assault charges in St. Clair Shores eatery incident (macombdaily.com) — Two Eastpointe residents have entered plea deals over an April 2025 assault on the owner of Amigos Street Tacos in nearby St. Clair Shores, with one facing up to 10 years in prison. One man, granted youthful trainee status, could have his record cleared if he follows court conditions, while both await sentencing in Macomb County Circuit Court later this summer.
