17 Rapes in Farmington Hills in 2014: FBI Crime Stats

The FBI has released its Crime in the United States report for 2014.

Neither Farmington nor Farmington Hills reported murders in 2014, but 17 rapes were reported in Farmington, according to the FBI’s recently released Crime in the United States report for 2014,

Property crimes, larcenies and thefts were the most frequently reported crimes in the two communities.

Farmington Hills, with a population of 81,682, and Farmington, with a population of 10,603, reported the following, respectively:

  • Violent crime: 95 and 9
  • Murder and non-negligent homicide: 0 for both
  • Rape: 17 and 1
  • Robbery: 19 and 3
  • Aggravated assault: 59 and 5
  • Property crime: 977 and 97
  • Burglary: 190 and 13
  • Larceny-theft: 707 and 77
  • Motor vehicle theft: 80 and 7
  • Arson: 3 and 0

As a whole, Oakland County reported:

  • Violent crime: 934
  • Murder and non-negligent homicide: 6
  • Rape: 111
  • Robbery: 155
  • Aggravated assault: 662
  • Property crime: 3,723
  • Burglary: 926
  • Larceny-theft: 2,508
  • Motor vehicle theft: 289
  • Arson: 55
