Is 1993 No-Hitter Your Memory?
A weathered baseball found in Farmington Hills recalls Joshua's first no-hitter. But who is Joshua?

Barry Nofzinger didn’t think much about the weathered baseball when he first picked it up from the Shiawassee Park baseball diamond in Farmington Hills Saturday.
But on closer inspection, he realized it had sentimental value for someone. Written on it were the words “Joshua’s first no-hitter,” along with a date that puts it at 21 years old, The Daily Tribune reports.
Nofzinger is trying to track down Joshua, or anyone who knows the now-adult man who pitched the Marlins vs. Mets no-hitter in May 1993. He posted a photo of the ball on his Facebook page.

“I thought if this were my son, I’d want that ball, or I’d want him to have it,” he said.
Nofzinger found the ball when he and his son, who plays T-ball, showed up early at the field to practice.
