5 Indicted in Alleged Hit on Farmington Hills Drug 'Snitch': Feds
An indictment handed down in federal court indicts five in the death of Devin Wallace, 30, killed in a spray of gunfire six months ago.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – An indictment handed down in U.S. District Court Wednesday alleges five men plotted to kill a Farmington Hills married father of two who was gunned down last September while sitting in his car in Detroit's Riverfront area because he outed drug dealers.

Devin Wallace, 30, died after at least 30 shots were fired into his Mercedes-Benz, which was parked outside the They Say restaurant near Jos. Campau and Franklin, the Detroit Free Press reports.

The indictment said Wallace admitted his own drug trafficking activities to Drug Enforcement Administration agents in August 2013, and fingered several other traffickers who were successfully prosecuted. After Wallace was identified as the informant, and a hit man was hired to kill him, according to the indictment.
Named in the indictment were Darnell Bailey, Stephen Brown, Deuta Belcher, Billie Chambers Jr., and Andre Watson.
