6 People Shot At House Party In Oakland County: Police

Police did not immediately identify any of the victims, but said they are all young adults.

LATHRUP VILLAGE, MI β€” Six people were injured in a Lathrup Village shooting Saturday, according to police.

Police said someone showed up at a home on the 17000 block of Margate Avenue, where a house party was being held at 12:20 a.m. Saturday and opened fire.

Two of the six people injured in the shooting were taken to a nearby hospital, where they were listed in critical condition, according to police.

They are expected to survive but face "a long road to recovery," according to police.

The other four people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting, according to police.

Police were still looking for the shooter. Police believe the shooting was an isolated target attack and don't believe there is any danger to the public.
