Beaumont Health Foundation will host the 2019 Autumn Gala 6:30 p.m. Saturday, November 9, at MGM Grand Detroit. The black-tie-optional affair will feature a cocktail reception, silent auction, elegant dinner and entertainment. Proceeds from the gala directly support cardiology programs at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills.
The event would not be possible without the generous support of the Beaumont Farmington Hills Medical Staff.
During the evening, there will be a program to recognize 25-year physicians and honor longtime physician and friend of Beaumont Dr. David Susser as he retires. The Beaumont Health physicians that will be highlighted for their contributions to the health system include:

Cardiologist David Susser, D.O. of Bloomfield Hills, has been with Beaumont, Farmington Hills, Botsford General Hospital and Zieger Clinic Hospital, the predecessor to Botsord in the late 1950s. He was an intern at Zieger Clinic Hospital and by the time the internship was complete, Allan Zieger, D.O. started Botsford General Hospital. Dr. Susser was there the day it opened in 1965. He will be honored for his 50+ years of exceptional care of area residence.
