Body Pulled From Oakland County Lake: Police

Officials did not determine a cause of death at the scene, as the Oakland County Medical Examiner investigates.

WATERFORD, MI — Officials pulled a body from Williams Lake in Waterford on Thursday morning, Waterford Police said.

A resident on Brightwood Court saw a body floating in the water just offshore on their property at 9:41 a.m. and called police, officials said.

The body of a man in his 20s was found floating in about 4 feet of water about 15 feet from shore. Police did identify the man and have noticed the family. Police did not release the man's name.
