
Everyone at the Botsford New Beginnings Maternity Center gives a big welcome to Bailei Jade Hudgins, the first baby born in 2015 at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. She was born at 12:48 p.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2015. Bailei weighs 5 pounds, 5 ounces and is 20 inches long.
Shontell Franklin, 26, of Detroit, who was tired after being in labor for five to six hours, feels both excited and nervous about the responsibility of parenthood. Bailei is her first child.
