Botsford Hospital names new VP

Linda Fitzgerald-Mays, RN, of Livonia, has been promoted to vice president of Quality and Clinical Outcomes at Botsford Hospital. This newly created position recognizes the critical importance of quality and clinical outcomes for Botsford patients. She has worked in both clinical and administrative positions during her 35-year career at Botsford.

The position supports Beaumont Health’s corporate quality measurement and improvement model. In this role, Fitzgerald-Mays is responsible for overall quality leadership, developing and facilitating strategies that improve quality, and reporting performance to the Beaumont Health quality leadership team and board of directors. She has direct organizational responsibility for Case Management, Social Work, Utilization Management, Denial Management, Quality Management, Infection Prevention, Trauma Services and Clinical Documentation Improvement.

Fitzgerald-Mays holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Madonna University, Livonia, Mich., and a master’s degree in health services administration from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, Mich.
