The event to start the year with a bang is approaching... The New Years Eve Bash!

Besides arriving in style, bringing a gift is always a classy touch. So what compliments fabulous people, great times and champagne?

GOOD FOOD!

Here are some cool quick ideas that travel and present well, that I’m sure your hostess will love you for.

I know when you hear popcorn and potato chips your think Super Bowl Sunday and soda, but they actually pair very well with champagne. In fact, in France they are a staple like beer and nuts for Americans.

Most have heard of caviar as the signature appetizer along side the bubbly, but a great alternative to try is smoked salmon. Make it a platter by adding shellfish like oysters and clams.

My favorite of all the delicious delectables to show up and show off with is CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES. YUMMY! These are a good time all by themselves!

If strawberries aren’t your thing you can always make a fruit platter or use skewers for shish-kabobs with treats like oranges, melons, grapefruits, and pineapples that compliment champagne.

Of course there are nonalcoholic beverages that would make a great splash as well with any of the items listed above.
