Farmington Hills Police Locate Woman Reportedly Waving Gun
Two citizens called police to report a woman walking along Grand River Avenue waving a gun Monday morning.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – A situation regarding a woman walking through town armed with a handgun about 9:30 a.m. Monday was resolved without incident, police said.

Police received two calls about the woman, who was seen on Grand River Avenue between Botsford Hospital and Middlebelt Road.

The white female was in her 40s, has blond hair, and was wearing a pink hat, dark coat and blue jeans. One witness said she was waving the gun in the air.
In a statement about 11 a.m., police said the woman was located and “is known to have previous mental health issues.”

The weapon the woman was carrying was an Airsoft gun and no one was hurt, police said.
