Michigan Auto Law is inviting Michigan high school juniors and seniors to participate in its 2027 Kelsey’s Law Distracted Driving Awareness Scholarship for a chance to win one of four awards totaling $5,000. Students can submit a creative YouTube video or graphic encouraging drivers to avoid distractions and stop texting while driving.
Applications are due March 1, 2027, and winners will be announced in April 2027 in recognition of National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $2,000 and can be used toward tuition at an accredited college, university, or technical school.
