The Crane Wives, Indie Folk Group, Perform at Stars in the Park

The group known for contagious energy combine vocal harmonies, eclectic instrumentation and a creative organic style.

With only a few weeks left in the Stars in the Park 2014 concert series, you won’t want to miss The Crane Wives when they take the stage at Heritage Park on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m.

From Grand Rapids, The Crane Wives are a “homegrown indie-folk” group. Using vocal harmonies, eclectic instrumentation, and creative organic style, The Crane Wives are known for their contagious energy.

The Stars in the Park Concert Series is generously sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and is held in the beautiful lawn area of the Heritage Park Amphitheater. Concert goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and a picnic dinner if desired. Heritage Park is located at 24915 Farmington Road, between Ten and Eleven Mile Roads in Farmington Hills.

Don’t let the construction on Farmington Road stop you from enjoying an evening filled with music and entertainment. Simply take Eleven or Twelve Mile Road to Farmington Road and head south. Heritage Park is located on the west side of Farmington Road.
