Post on Patch! Here's How

We like to think of Patch as a big living room where multiple conversations can take place about a range of topics. That’s why we’ve made it easy for you to get your news, events, fun pictures and other items on the site.

If you have a news item for any Patch site, you can easily post and it’s instantly live.

Note: One login works for all Patch sites nationwide.

• Sign in to your free account at Patch — http://contribute.patch.com
• Click “+ Create Article” in the upper right corner of the page.
• Your category is Bulletin Board.
• Assign your community in the right corner of the page. Start typing the name of the community (e.g., Bethesda) and it will appear; click the name to “assign it.”
• Enter your information and upload your photos. For best results, your photos should be under 2 MB.

Click “Publish” — Your article is automatically approved and will be posted on the site! It may take a few minutes for it to appear.

Note: If you’re a new user and first-time poster, you’ll receive a confirmation email before you can post to the site.
