FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — A driver died Saturday morning in a rollover crash on Interstate 696 in Oakland County, Michigan State Police said.

State troopers said the driver was driving west on Interstate 696 at 2 a.m. when the vehicle veered off the road and into a ditch near Drake Road in Farmington Hills.

The driver was ejected from the crash. Officials tried saving the driver's life, but were unsuccessful.
