Acoustic Open Mic at Mentobe Cafe

One of the newest and hippest coffeehouses in town joins forces with one of the Detroit area's best open mic hosts: The Mentobe Cafe just opened in June 2011, but has quickly gained a reputation for its edible and drinkable goods, its atmosphere, and - most recently - its status as a venue for great live music.

The host, John Finan, is a singer/songwriter/musician​ and longtime open mic host (previously at Xhedos, AJ's, and the Plymouth Coffee Bean). John brings his enthusiastic and respectful support of local musicians to his new hometown coffeehouse.
