DDC is holding auditions for their 2011-12 Season. DDC seeks dancers with extensive modern dance training and performing experiences. Study in ballet and other dance styles is advantageous. Auditions will include an advanced modern technique class, improvisation, as well as learning phrases from DDC repertory. Interviews with prospective candidates will be held at the end of the audition. Dancers should arrive early to sign in, submit their resume, a recent photo and letter of recommendation. DDC offers contracts for the season, Sept - May. Dancers are paid by project and for all teaching positions. DDC personnel are independent contractors and are responsible for their own income tax obligations.
