In the midst of training for a 300-mile bicycle ride to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan, Team Alex members will apply the handbrakes the evening of Monday, June 13, to honor their generous supporters at a free gala musical event featuring jazz, rock, opera, folk, Jewish songs and more.
The Team Alex Thank-You Concert will celebrate the memory and the wish of Alex Graham. Daughter of Susie and Bill Graham, Alex was a 17-year-old West Bloomfield High School student when she lost her battle with bone cancer in 1999.
The 7:30 p.m. concert will be held at , 29901 Middlebelt, in Farmington Hills. It will feature Daniel Gross, the hazzan (Hebrew for cantor) and his wife, Lauren Skuce Gross, both accomplished and dynamic singers, as well as popular local musicians Marty Liebman, Jon Liebman, Jake Reichbart and Dan Maslanka.

Concert admission is free; guests will not be solicited for contributions. Seating will be first come, first served.
Team Alex wants to show their supporters, through the beauty of the upcoming free concert, how important they are to the Make-A-Wish cause, which grants wishes to seriously ill kids and their families to help them sustain their spirits.
