The City of Farmington will open the Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market on May 16, but with strict measures put in place to emphasize safety during the COVID-19 pandemic
Market Manager Walt Gajewski organized a smaller footprint that features growers and vendors who sell pre-packaged foods – the “artisan” part of the market will have to wait until we are safely through the pandemic.

In this video, Walt explains the new layout and procedures, including how to pre-order and pay; as well as ingress and egress to and from the market: https://vimeo.com/414603131
“The City is grateful for the work that Walt put into this so the community can continue to have their favorite farmers bring them access to locally-sourced fresh and healthy food,” said City Manager David Murphy. “We’d also like to recognize the volunteers who will be making this happen safely on a weekly basis.”
