Farmington Hills EDC to Honor 50-Year Businesses, Faith-Based Entities

Are you the owner of a company or a faith-based entity thatβs been in operation for 50 years? If so, the City of Farmington Hills Economic Development Corporation (EDC) wants to recognize your outstanding contributions to the community.
The EDC was formed in 1979 to encourage the establishment of businesses that benefit the Farmington Hills area. EDC Board members represent leaders from both city government and the local business community. The EDC is committed to supporting new and existing industries and aims to create an environment that will help businesses grow and prosper.
βWe are pleased to recognize long-term successful businesses or faith-based entities,β EDC Chair John Anhut said. βThis program is a tribute to those who have made outstanding contributions to our economic growth and prosperity.β

Those recognized must have been established for a minimum of 50 consecutive years or more. Since their founding, they must also have been involved in the same type of business and located in the Farmington Hills area.
To be considered for recognition, businesses or faith-based entities must submit the following information:

A brief description of the nature of the business or faith-based entity
A brief description of how the organization has evolved over time
