Farmington Hills Police Officer Promoted to Sergeant

Brian Moore, who has been with the police force since 1998, will serve as shift supervisor for the Patrol Division.

Farmington Hills police officer Brian Moore was promoted to sergeant last month, the police department has announced.

Moore has served the Farmington Hills community since 1998. During his time as an officer, he has worked with Patrol Division, the South Oakland Narcotics Intelligence Consortium (S.O.N.I.C.), and as a field training officer.

He has received 34 different awards during his career, including a lifesaving award for saving a choking victim.

Moore has a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University in community development and public administration.

In his new role, Moore will be assigned to the Patrol Division, where he will serve as a shift supervisor.
