Farmington Hills Will Add Part-Time Paid Firefighter Position

The successful candidate will respond to fire emergencies mainly in the evenings and on weekends.

Farmington Hills, MI — The Farmington Hills Fire Department is seeking candidates for the position of paid-on-call fire fighter. This is a part-time, paid position within the department.

Paid-on-call fire fighters typically respond to emergencies in the evenings and on weekends.

Once trained, they are part of the highly acclaimed Farmington Hills Fire Department and will respond to medical emergencies, extinguish fires, participate in fire prevention activities, receive continuous training, and enjoy the personal satisfaction that comes from helping others in the community.

An informational meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 30 at Fire Station No. 5, located at 31455 W. 11 Mile Road (at the southwest corner of 11 Mile and Orchard Lake roads on the Farmington Hills City Hall campus.)
