Farmington Residents to Pay More for Water and Sewage

The rate increases will go into effect July 1.

Farmington, MI – Farmington residents will start paying more for water and sewage beginning July 1.

The Farmington Observer reports that residents will see a 6.86% increase in water rates and a 5.82% increase in sewer rates.

The increases are a result of hikes handed down by the Great Lakes Water Authority and a drop in water usage.
