Farmington Walkers Raise Money for Children's Miracle Network

Money to support pediatric programs at Beaumont Children's

There were 1200 superheroes of all ages at Beaumont Children’s β€œWalk for Miracles” at the Detroit Zoo, Saturday, June 15. Event proceeds of $68,000 will benefit Children’s Miracle Network programming at Beaumont Children’s. Farmington Hills Happy Feet group of walkers were among the supporters.

Participants dressed as their favorite superhero or fantasy character. Children will met Super Beau, the Beaumont Children’s mascot bear, and other popular fairytale and comic book heroes. Each child will received a superhero cape. Walkers also had the opportunity to meet former Detroit Red Wing defenseman Jason Woolley and WOMC host Beau Daniels.
