Nine months of labour produced Dr. Aisha Abbasi’s “ Rupture of Serenity”. She likens the book to life as “a cascade of feelings, memories and experiences.”

Author: Dr. Aisha Abbasi is well known clinical psychoanalyst and an Urdu poet. Completed her Residency from Henry Ford Hospital. Currently a Supervising and Training Analyst at the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute. She has presented and published on a variety of analytic topics, and is currently co-chair of the discussion group ‘The Birth of an Analysis in the Mind of the Analyst: From Evaluation, to Recommendation, and Beyond,’ which convenes annually at the national meetings of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
