Heat Moves Tonight's Free Concert from Heritage Park to Costick Center

supervisor Nancy Coumoundouros announced this morning that tonight's concert in has been moved indoors to beat the heat.

The free concert, featuring Bob Seeger tribute band Lookin' Back, will be performed at 7 p.m. in the air conditioned comfort of Shannon Hall at the on 11 Mile east of Middlebelt, Coumoundouros said.

Temperatures are expected to soar into the upper 90s by this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Today is an , meaning air quality is expected to be unhealthy for sensitive groups, including children and people with asthma and other respiratory diseases.
