The City of Farmington Hills is currently conducting a Community Needs Survey, which can be found on the home page of the City’s website at www.fhgov.com.

The purpose of the survey is to obtain the views of residents, public agencies, and other interested parties regarding Community Needs in Farmington Hills.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires public input on the needs in communities, such as Farmington Hills, that receive Community Development Block Grant Funding. This survey will help to determine funding priorities for the next five years.

Grant dollars fund the Housing Rehabilitation Program, which provides assistance to low and moderate income homeowners for improvements such as window and siding installation, furnace replacement, and sewer and water connections. Grant money is also used for capital improvements such as storm drains, street paving, and sidewalk installations.
