Heritage Park Fall Hayrides Begin On Oct. 1
The City of Farmington Hills is providing people the chance to experience Michigan's changing season through the park's trails on a hayride.

FARMINTON HILLS, MI — The City of Farmington Hills said on Monday that fall hayrides will start on Oct. 1 at Heritage Park.
The hayrides will travel through the park's trails to experience the fall colors of the changing season and will be available every Friday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. from Oct. 1- Nov. 5.
After the hayride the city is encouraging people to purchase a cup of cider, a s’mores kit and a roasting stick to use at a campfire in Heritage Park for an additional $1 per person.

The cost for a hayride is $5 per person, except for children under 2, who will admitted for free.

The city also reminded potential goers to dress accordingly, as the hayrides will still go even if it's raining. Only a severe weather threat will prompt a cancelation and then participants will notified on the day of the event with a refund or transfer option.
Since limited spots are available, the city is urging people to pre-register early online. Registration is also available in person at the Costick Center located at 28600 Eleven Mile Road.
