What they did is compiled data based on the search "How do you spell."

And some of the words may surprise you.
Michigan has a problem with “gray.” So do South Dakota and Oklahoma. Grammrist.com has a whole big thing about “gray” versus “grey.” Basically, it comes down to this: Americans spell it “gray” and almost every other English-speaking country spells it “grey” — kind of like the metric system.
The most common search in Massachusetts? How do you spell Massachusetts?"
California, Indiana, Connecticut, and Utah all have trouble with "desert" though it's not clear if people were looking for more sand or ice cream.
New Yorkers have trouble with "beautiful" which could easily be an issue for a therapist.
New Hampshire, meanwhile, apparently has a problem with "diarrhea," which can't be good for tourism.
