Appointments are required for city-sponsored antique appraisal. Here's what – and what not – to bring.

The City of Farmington Hills is holding an Antique Appraisal on Friday, March 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the historic Longacre House, located at 24705 Farmington Road, between Ten and Eleven Mile Roads.
Participants are invited to bring up to three antique items to be appraised by renowned antique experts from DuMouchelle Galleries. Ten minutes will be allowed to discuss the history and value of all items. Items to be appraised may include jewelry, artwork, books, furniture, dolls, toys or any other antique objects. Please note that participants are asked not to bring guns for appraisal.
Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling 248-477-8404. There is a $7 charge per item with a limit of three items per person. Register for the Antique Appraisal at https://recregfhgov.com. Participants must be 18 or older.
